Time to Gather

Happy Thanksgiving!

A couple of ideas:
* In addition to the contributions that your family and guests bring to your feast, ask them to also bring a contribution for your local food bank. Bag up the non-perishables and can goods, and drop them off next week to help replenish supplies.

* Feast on reading! To settle down after the holiday festivities, gather the young and young-at-heart for story time. Drag out old favorites and new additions and take turns reading picture books aloud.
Enjoy the season of Hope and Peace.

Cathryn-
Thanks for leaving a greeting on our Blog (Mama C and the Boys) the other day. We are BIG fans of yours--and even have an original print from David's... on Sam's wall (purchased at the Save Our Kappy event). I am good friends with Kristen too. Wanted you to know that the director of Sam and Marcel's daycare read "Feast" to all of the kids and their parents before our community T'day meal at my urging! It meant a LOT to Sam that she chose that book, our book and a book that he sees himself in. Best to you-Catherine
